All Assets owned by the Board of Education that are no longer required for program purposes, have become obsolete, or have outlived their useful lives, will be considered surplus and are to be disposed of in accordance with the School Act, and the XXXX: Disposal of Surplus Assets (A/P), as established by the Board of Education. 

The Process:

♦ All sealed bids must include: 
        the name, address and phone number of bidder
        the dollar amount of the bid
♦ The bids must be sealed in an envelope, or submitted electronically.
♦ The sealed bidding is open to both members of the public and school district employees alike, and is limited to one entry per person.
♦ A review of the bids will be conducted by the Secretary Treasurer and the Director of Operations. 
♦ The selected individual(s) will be the highest bid received and does not need to be present. 
♦ All sealed bid entrants will be notified in writing of the outcome.

Collection of Assets:

It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to make arrangements for the collection of the assets with Alex Taylor, Director of Operations. The successful bidder is responsible for making all the logistical arrangements required for collecting the assets. The Pacific Rim School District holds no responsibility over the assets and if damages occur during the collection of the assets. The successful bidder will have five business days to collect the assets. Failure to do so could result in the assets being awarded to the next closest bidder.
