École Alberni Elementary Students at Carnaval du Québec!

Val Cartier

A group of Grade 6/7 French Immersion students, staff and parents are currently in Québec City for the Winter Carnaval celebrations.  Très amusant!

Students are visiting Montréal and Québec cities, making sure to take advantage of various winter activities such as tubing and sledding while fueling up on traditional Québécois foods and treats such as poutine and maple butter!

Taking selfies with Bonhomme Carnaval at his Ice Palace was a treat for all. Spending time at a 'Cabane à Sucre' allowed everyone a chance to play the wooden spoons, dance to traditional French music and also to consume the purest maple syrup on Earth!

Parler Français...c'est cool!

Registration for French Immersion (Kindergarten) is now open for the Sept 24/25 school year.
